DORR STREET TRAFFIC ISLANDS AND URBAN BEAUTIFICATION
Sealed bids will be received at the Purchasing office, 19th Floor, OneGovernmentCenter, Suite 1970, Toledo, Ohio, 43604, until 2:00 p.m. (local time): TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2009, for the Department of PUBLIC UTILITIES, Division of ENGINEERING SERVICES.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on December 1, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., Division of Engineering Services, One Lake Erie Center, 600 Jefferson Ave., Suite 300, Toledo, Ohio.
Any bidder submitting a bid in the amount of forty thousand dollars ($40,000.00) or more shall submit a bid guaranty in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, subject to a maximum amount of two hundred thousand ($200,000.00). The bid guaranty may be a bid bond or a certified check or cashier’s check on a solvent bank. The bid guaranty shall provide that if the bid is accepted, the bidder shall enter into a proper contract with the City in accordance with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material. Company checks are not acceptable.
All bids must be made on the Bid Form with specifications, etc., which may be obtained from the City of Toledo Purchasing office located at OneGovernmentCenter, Suite 1970, Toledo, Ohio43604. A $25.00 non-refundable deposit is required for bid plans and specifications (checks made payable to the City of Toledo).
