2009 Goals and Objectives
Affirmative Action/Contract Compliance: Select an Affirmative Action representative from each division and have four training sessions for this group.
Benefits & Training: Decrease medical costs through employee co-pays and aggressive monitoring.
Employee Relations: Complete all labor contract negotiations.
Selection and Evaluation: Revise and update all class specifications to ensure the accuracy and job-relatedness of all duties, responsibilities and minimum requirements.
Workers’ Compensation: Establish safety groups City-wide to reduce Workers’ Compensation costs.

City of Toledo Diabetes Medication Therapy Management Program
The Diabetes Medication Therapy Management Program being offered to City of Toledo Employees and their dependents is a joint effort by the City, FrontPath Health Coalition, The University of Toledo and the Coalition of Toledo Area Independent Pharmacies to improve patients’ knowledge about their diabetes as well as to improve their quality of life and pharmacoeconomic outcomes.
