GOAL 1:
Implement the Toledo Leap Forward Refuse Collection Plan by Jan. 2009. (100% COMPLETE)
GOAL 2:
Implement citywide automation for refuse and recycling collection by Dec. 31, 2009. (IN PROCESS)
GOAL 3:
Improve snow and ice control procedures. (100% COMPLETE)
GOAL 4:
Expand leaf to compost production as a Department of Public Service (DPS) intradepartmental cost-saving and revenue-generating project. (IN PROCESS)
GOAL 5:
Install traffic control devices for the conversion of Jefferson Avenue (Erie to Summit); Huron Street (Washington to Madison); and Madison Avenue (Michigan to St. Clair) from one-way to two-way traffic flow. (IN PROCESS)
GOAL 6:
Continue implementation of enhancements to traffic safety by improving the legibility and reflectivity standards of traffic control devices. (IN PROCESS)
GOAL 7:
Implement energy-saving projects in City buildings to reduce costs. (IN PROCESS)
GOAL 8:
Convert 10 marked Police vehicles to propane fuel systems to reduce energy costs by 40%. (ON HOLD DUE TO FUNDING)
GOAL 9:
Maintain aggressive Tree Removal / Replacement Program. (IN PROCESS)

Re-evaluate and perform mowing operations of City public lands. (100% COMPLETE)
